Bora Bora, Tahaa, and Moorea
I've been trying to find the words to explain this trip, but I just don't think there are any! We had the most unbelievable time. We flew into Tahiti and boarded the Paul Gauguin for a French Polynesian 8 day cruise with our family and friends. Traveling with our almost one year old was an adventure! I feel so blessed that we are able to travel the world with her. Thankfully she already loves traveling and she's our little explorer, she did amazing!
This was a smaller cruise line which was really nice. The first stop was called Tahaa, we spent the day on a beach there and the view was incredible.
The next stop was Bora Bora! I am still in awe of this place, it's one of those places that we hear about and it seems like an imaginary place. It truly felt like it was a dream. The cruise stayed here for two days so we had the option of staying on the boat or staying the night in one of the famous bungalows over the water....and we definitely chose the bungalow! We stayed in the the over water bungalows at the Conrad Hotel. This was absolutely a peak experience! The bungalows were amazing and so nice, and we had a view of the water like you couldn't believe. I have never seen water so clear and so beautiful in my life.
My two loves, collecting sand!
I could drink coffee like this every morning, no problem!
Next stop, Moorea! Moorea was breath taking! The mountains are majestic and covered in foliage. We took a taxi to a beach and spent the day there. The water was even more clear here then anywhere else we had been (which is hard to believe). If you love snorkeling, this is the place to do it.
This was a trip of a life time and I hope we can experience it again in the future!
